We have been researching a business concept where contacts (email address, phone, title etc.) are traded for more contacts rather than buying ‘one shot’ emailing lists. I see several advantages of owning the list for re-use as a news letter and a huge savings in cost and control. I say control because I sometimes wonder about businesses that perform an email campaign for you because they may hurt more than help. We really cannot control where they are going with your brand.
