We work with SEO a lot. The advice they are giving us is to move our Blog on BlogSpot to our on domain and use WordPress. They say this because BlogSpot is picking up all the links (juice) and our domain does not get the benefit. But I am not so sure. I would like someone from Google explain. Certainly there must be a lot of value in a back link from BlogSpot to your site? But the WordPress people are fanatics. Also if you notice you cannot get a page rank when your blog is on BlogSpot, there has to be a reason and I cannot determine if this is a good or bad sign?
